The Adventures of Alice and Nigel Newman Review

This is a review of a story written on Quotev by my old friend, Scripter21. She wrote this story on Quotev and I enjoyed reading multiple of her stories, in fact we were good friends. I got blocked from Quotev for being under 13 years old, as I am 12 years old and we lost contact. Scripter21 found my blog and asked me to do a detailed review of her story "The Adventures of Alice and Nigel Newman" and I decided, I really wanted to do it. So here is the review, Scripter21, The Adventures of Alice and Nigel Newman Review by Maya Hart.

So, so far I have read 3 chapters of this story, because those are the only chapters that have been made. So, so far we've met The Newman family. They were on a car trip driving with 2 parents in the front and 4 kids in the back. The oldest daughter, Taylor was a teenager who can't focus on anything other than her phone. The youngest son, Ben is 8 years old and a read-headed goofball. The best characters of them all and the two protagonists, Alice and Nigel, the 12-year-old Newman twins. These two twins seem to have a love-hate relationship in my eyes. They fought in the car over their videogames and how they were getting in each others way. Alice deliberately knocked Nigel's game on the floor, not thinking about his opinion on her actions. They didn't seem to get along well, but you can see that they would be lost without each other, as their lives seem centered around each other. It wasn't boring nor childish in my eyes. The scene of the car drive really kept my attention. Also, in the 3rd chapter, the description of the mansion-like house was effectively described. I could really picture the image in my mind and I understood it perfectly and it all made sense. I also found it ironic and unexpected when Ben, the younger brother was the one who really farted on the car drive. I didn't expect it to be him. And how his cheeks turned red like his hair, I found that to be a very good similie. I would definently recommend reading this story and I also recommend reading more stories by Scripter21 on Quotev.
